The Lakeside Park in North Narrabeen will once again be the site of Eggs by the Lake, the annual Easter egg hunting event. Some 10,000 colourful Easter eggs will be up for grabs for kids from the ages three to 12 years old.
Eggs by the Lake will take place on Saturday, the 20th of April at 3:00 p.m. The hunt will be divided into five different age groups:
- 3 to 4-year-old children, with their parent or carer
- 5 to 6-year-old children, unassisted
- 7 to 8-year-old children
- 9 to 10-year-old children
- 11 to 12-year-old children
This year, a 45-metre jumping castle will also be set up. This facility is free to use for the children to enjoy. There will also be different traditional community games during this afternoon affair for the whole family, such as sack racing or egg and spoon relay. Prizes will be given away courtesy of sponsors like Pittwater RSL.
Food trucks will be in the park to serve sandwiches, coffee and other Easter treats so make sure to bring enough cash for food and refreshments if you’re famished.
Eggs by the Lake is hosted by The Link Church.
